got my cat a puzzle feeder and now she's obsessed

Okay so I finally gave in and bought one of those puzzle feeders for my cat. You know, the ones with little sliding compartments where they have to paw at the treats to get them out?

I was skeptical at first because my cat Luna is usually the type to knock her food bowl over and then look at me like it's my fault. But honestly? She is obsessed. Like, she will sit and work on each little compartment for ages, which is saying something because this cat has the attention span of a goldfish.

It has been about two weeks now and I have noticed she actually eats slower (which was my main goal — she used to inhale her food in 30 seconds flat), and she seems way less bored during the day. The 3am zoomies have calmed down a bit too, which is a win in my book.

If your cat is a fast eater or just seems bored all day, honestly worth a try. Just don't expect them to get it right away — the first day mine just sat there staring at it like it was a spaceship.

Anyone else tried one of these? Would love to know if your cats figured it out faster than mine.
